Our Journey

The Engagement Story

Meeting during Covid, David and Nadja found themselves in a unique position. They were both stuck in a bubble! After some time, dates, trips, and a lot of laughter, they both found life long partners in eachother.

Under the stars of the Serengeti, surrounded by the animals, David and Nadja made a promise to eachother.

Now we want our friends, family, and loved ones to share in this joyous occasion.

Frequently Asked Questions

The dress code is black tie attire. Think suits for men and evening dresses for women. We welcome some celtic flair.

Where can I stay?

The town of Balina has a range of hotels as well as Airbnbs available. We have an allocation of rooms available also reserved in our name. Please let us know if you need help finding accommodation.

What's the plan for the day?

The day starts with the ceremony in the beautiful Chruch. After that guests can make their way to the hotel while we slip away for some photos. The hotel will have some finger food and snacks as well as live music. Once we arrive the party starts!

Can I bring a plus one?

Please refer to your invitation to see if a plus one has been allocated to you. Don't be afraid to ask if you're not sure or if we missed out.

Is there parking available?

Both the church and hotel will have parking available. However, we highly recommend arriving early to secure a spot, as spaces may be limited. If you plan to celebrate with a drink (or two!), please consider leaving your car behind. We'll have taxis available for your convenience to ensure everyone gets home safely.
